Summary
A maintenance technician is in charge of keeping a facility, such as an apartment building or a corporate office, in good working order. Plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems are just a few of the skills they have. Building inspections, inventory management, and repair scheduling are all part of the job.
Computer Maintenance Technicians typically work with a variety of devices, including desktops, laptops, servers, and computer clusters. The desk technician may be called upon to troubleshoot a variety of peripherals, including both input and output devices. There’s also a probability that system administrators will investigate networking hardware including routers, switches, fibre optics, and wireless networks.
The computer technician provides annual maintenance and upgrades systems in response to client demands. They analyse the systems to ensure that they are operating correctly and to spot any faults. This position entails balancing technical and client support responsibilities by resolving any faults that arise.
Introduction
Minimum Preferably ITI (electrical, mechanical) Certified Maintenance Technician Training (programme matched to the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India’s ELE/Q4501)

Key Competencies
- Well-versed about the company's products and the difficulties that have been reported on a regular basis
- Basic understanding of system hardware electronics
- Basic understanding of how a circuit works and the functions of its modules
- Understanding the functions of electrical and mechanical parts/modules
- Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Electronic Systems are familiar with the use of precision tools and equipment.
- Reading manuals, drawings, wiring schedules, circuit layouts, and component specs is second nature to me.
- Ability to communicate with customers in a way that makes them feel at ease
- Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units, lifts, power and water supply, generators, and other equipment require expert maintenance.
- Well-versed in the etiquette and behavioural characteristics to be followed at a customer's location
Salary
Experience-wise | Salary |
For freshers | INR 9,500 to INR 11,000 per month |
For experienced candidates (½ year) | INR 19,000 to INR 25,000 per month |
For experienced candidates (2 years) | INR 26,000 to INR 35,000 per month |
